Coppertone Pony by Kim Wyatt
This is one of my older paintings, it has been sold but I am drawn to these colors an plan to use them together again soon.
My favorite Suzy painting.
Dogs are such wonderful individuals, they live life like any moment could be special, like any trip outside their yard is a grand adventure. They leave us with wonderful memories. Our Suzy was a typical herding dog, and till she was about ten years old she could be a little standoffish and reserved with strangers. However she had a weakness. She loved her spots and generally if someone approached her talking about her beautiful spots our shy reserved dog turned to mush at their feet. Clearly this was a person of superior intellect and taste. I’m laughing thinking about how she suddenly trusted the stranger to pet her.
And of course, I’ve gotten have flowers on my desk while painting.
And I finally started painting in the watercolor study of guitars last night.
I started working on a painting of my son Randy last night.
